Getting started with the Partner Console
The Cerebro Partner Console is CavalryHQ's library of application workstation guides: what each professional application really asks of a machine, and the hardware that runs it at full productivity.
Sign in, in four steps
- Enter your work emailUse your company email address. Personal addresses can't be used.
- Open the sign-in linkYou'll receive a one-time link by email. Open it on the same device and browser. There's no password.
- Choose your email updatesDecide whether you'd like a note when new applications are added, and occasional platform updates. Then you're in.
What you'll find
- Application guides organized by software vendor, application and version.
- Workload analysis: how each application uses the CPU, GPU, memory and storage, and where the bottlenecks are.
- Hardware guidance by tier, so you can match a configuration to how the application is actually used.
- Search and sort by vendor, application or version, or narrow the list by category. Open any guide to read it full-screen; if a guide has more than one published version, pick it from the list at the top. Your browser's Back button returns you to the list.
Good to know
- How long do I stay signed in?
- Up to 30 days on the same browser. After that, enter your email again and use the new link.
- The sign-in link didn't arrive.
- Check your junk or quarantine folder, and allow a few minutes. Corporate filters sometimes hold new senders. You can request a fresh link from the sign-in page.
- The link says it's invalid or expired.
- Links work once and expire after a short time. Request a new one and open it on the same device you requested it from.
- Can a colleague use my access?
- Access is personal and can't be shared. Anyone with an email address at your company's domain can request their own access from the sign-in page. CavalryHQ approves each request manually, based on your company's available seats and subscription level.
- What does CavalryHQ record?
- Your email address, your company, your email-update choices, and your usage: when you visit, which guides you open, and roughly how long you read them. CavalryHQ uses this to improve the quality and effectiveness of the guides, for example to see which guides are most popular and how Cerebro is used overall. CavalryHQ may share usage summaries with your company's account contact, and never shares this information with anyone else. Cerebro doesn't record what you type. Usage records are kept for up to 13 months. You can change your email preferences at any time under My details in the Partner Console.
